Shiki nodded. "Okay. If anyone is hurt, I want you to get out of there." she stated, moving silently forward.

Akatsuki mock saluted Shiki with a paw. "I'm on it." he laughed and moved off in his own direction.

Shiki's parting words were barely audible. "Be careful..."

(I guess you typed Daniel instead of Akatsuki there. Nice to see you think about me so much. Hehehe.)

"I won't let you down." These words didn't have only one meaning to him.

He landed on the street, went around the building and quietly pushed the back door to get inside.

Shiki crept forward and slid silently in through the slightly ajar door. She knew the dangers of entering through the front, which were rather large, hence the reason why she took this route, rather than send her team.

She slipped through the halls, her fur blending into the shadows and her eyes glowing alertly.

Daniel was in his stealth mode. Moving close to walls, in the shadows.

"Upstairs, I think."

Akatsuki jumped through an open window, quickly changing his form to that of a fly. "Hehe. Too easy." he whispered to himself.

He flew through the house, ignoring that annoying buzzing sound.

Shiki stifled a growl as she came upon a door. She could sense a demonic presence within and the unmistakeable smell of a demon, though she couldn't pinpoint what kind.

She'd been searching through the halls for some time now, quietly scouting out each room.

She slunk forward and pressed her ear to the door.

Daniel quietly moved upstairs while trying to locate the demon with his nose.

"Second floor, definitively."

Shiki's sensitive hearing picked up the sound of breathing within. Silently, she changed back into her human form and drew her ice katana.

Grasping the handle, she turn and pulled it open.

She let out a small gasp at what she saw.

Akatsuki changed into the form of a large wolf, around six foot high, and approached a door. He could hear some footstep and breathing nearby, though he was unsure it if ws coming from within or not.

Shrugging, he pushed open the door, which wasn't closed properly, and entered the room.

Daniel moved close to a door, and heard noise inside. Wondering if his teammates found the same room, he pushed the door open with a lot of strength.

Shiki heard Akatsuki and Daniel enter aswell, but her mind was too busy processing the situation to react.

Before her stood a large, snarling, tiger demon. It's eyes were a raging orange, and a scar marred the underside of it's left eye. She knew that tiger...

She felt her sword leave her hand.

Akatsuki entered the room and saw the side of a tiger, who easily stood six and a half foot.

He dove forward and sank his teeth into the side of it's pelt with a loud growl. It roared and twisted, swiping at him with sharp, lrge claws.

Jazp: okkk... o.o
Jazp entered waiting to see strange things...
Jazp: uh???

Daichi looked at Jasp, and approached him.

Daichi: "Hey...what are you doing here?"

Daniel crouched and jumped directly to the tiger's neck.

The tiger roared loudly and flung Akatsuki off itself. Akatsuki flew across the room and skidded along the hardwood floors on his feet, claws digging into the wood.

Shiki watched her comrades fight, a numb feeling settling in her heart and her limbs frozen.

Daniel tried to force the tiger down by pulling its neck with his jaws. He looked at the paralyzed Shiki.

Akatsuki got up and charged the tiger too, aiding Daniel in the attempt to force him down. The tiger was soon pinned down.

Daniel pressed the tiger down with his paws to keep him immobilized.

"Shiki...what happened to you?"

"H-he's..." she stuttered, staring at Daniel.

As if to answer the question the tiger shrunk under their hold and transformed. A man with long red hair and proud gold eyes. He had tiger ears and a tiger tail.

That wasn't the start of the shock. In his hand was a large katana sword, the blade made out of what looked to be pure fire.

"Her older brother."

"What...!?"

"H-Half-brother." she murmured, staring at him with wide eyes. She turned her attention on the man.

"Nii-san. What are you doing here?" She asked.

Daniel didn't know what to do. Press him more or let him go.

Her brother struggled under Daniel's rough hold. "That I can't tell you."

Shiki watched Daniel's internal struggle. "Let him go, Daniel."

Daniel stepped back and transformed into his human form again. His look went from Shiki to her brother.

Akatsuki reluctantly let the regal looking man go. He noticed absently how Shiki seemed to look her calm, in control aura when she stared into his eyes.

"So, who are you tiger boy." he taunted bravely, as he returned to Shiki's side.

"That's Toukai-sama to your, baka." the now named Toukai stated, getting gracefully to his feet - the same grace Shiki seemed to posess - and turned his golden eyes on them.

"All you need to know, Shiki." Toukai taunted, his tail flicking in amusement. "Is that Kaa-san is expecting you."

Shiki frowned angrily. "You need to go home, Nii-san. Tell Kaa-san...tell her I'll be there soon."

Daniel walked to Shiki's side without saying a word, and without taking his look off Toukai.

Toukai glanced at the two standing protectively next to Shiki with a smirk. "Or what, you'll set your boy toys on me?" he laughed.

Shiki felt her face heat in embaressment, in only the way Toukai could make her. She glared weakly at him. "Nii-san. Just go home and destroy something."

Toukai pouted at her, sheathing his sword on his back. "Fine then, meany," he stuck his tongue out at her. "But I'll be back." With that he left in a tower of fire.

Shiki was inwardly smacking her head against a wall.

"Kaa-san? I'm a little confused here, Shiki."
