Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Immersion Of Shadows

Luke and Daichi went down to the base.

Shiki followed them, humming absentmindedly to herself.

Luke: "I hope Lucario finds out more about where Wellington and I came from."

"Mm." Shiki hummed. "He's bound to find something, but whether or not it's something you want to hear is the true question."

"He said we affected the balance...".

"Try not to think too hard on it," Shiki stated. "I'm sure there are other reasons."

"But what if we damage this world? What if people find out and try to..."

Shiki brushed against him, in her form of a hug. "We'll worry about that when it comes."

Daichi served gummies and berries on the table.

Luke: "I just hope it never comes."

Shiki sighed and slowly dug into her own portion of food. "Yeah."

Luke finished his food.

"Well, I need to get some sleep."

Shiki smiled at him. "Good night, Luke. I'll be up for a while longer, if you need me." she murmured.

"OK, thank you."

Luke laid down on his pile of hay, curled up and closed his eyes.

Shiki gazed out the window with a small frown. 'What does this mean for them,' she gazed at Wellington and Luke.

Luke began to see aurora lights in his dreams.

She curled up on her bed and buried her nose into her tail.

Luke heard voices in his dreams.

"No, don't let go!"

"I can't..."

"Who knows what could happen to you if you fell through the tunnel!"

"I won't be able to...you'll have to go on by yourself..."

Shiki rolled over in her sleep, her ears twitching sporadically.

"This is going to collapse!"

"We'll fall through the tunnel! We won't reach the past to save the future!"

"AAAAAAAAAARRRRGHHHH!!!!!"

Luke woke up out of sudden. He looked scared. The sun was rising already.

Shiki rolled over and let out a small sigh, her mouth falling open ever so slightly.

Luke got up and watched the sun rise from the bluff's opening. "What was that dream...?"

Shiki purred softly in her sleep.

If one were to see into her dream they would be viewing a multitude of colours, food and some obscure furry figures.

Abruptly the purring cut off and Shiki let out a soft mewl. "W-wha?" she murmured sleepily, bringing her paws up to rub her eyes.

"Hm?" Luke turned around and looked at her.
