In the "Fakemon" thread, we came up with the idea to make a Pokemon ROM hack in WPF.

I have all the tools and the Emerald ROM, now I just need your help with tiles, sprites and ideas.

Positions:


Main Hacker(s):

King Wooper

In-Game Map Editing

Sir Spart Sparklbox

King Wooper

Storyline:

Sir Spart Sparklbox

Spriters:

SilverDragon

We need someone that knows how to make game scripts! If you can't, maybe a friend of yours can or something.

OK, I'm the Main Hacker! =D

Everything you do for the project, I'll add it and such.

Only problem = I can't do game scripts. So you'll have to move though the cities in the same order as in the original game.

But that isn't terrible, because we can make Prof. Birch an elder Wooper and make him speak like Zelgius von Woop and make him give you noodles! =D

hey.. please delete the rocks from te big river.. I was playing emerald.. and I discovered that the river goes thought all hoen.. If you delete them you can go to all the region faster Very Happy
Also I'll search all the poke sprites.. and remember if someone wants to put a pokemon they are the dolls of the secret bases.. I'll search those.. hehe..

I have kinda bad news, A-Text (obviously a text editor) won't work with Emerald because some specific reasons. We need to use Leaf Green/Fire Red.

Is okay if we use Fire Red instead of Emerald? Or even Diamond/Pearl.

There's actually one called Thingy, but it's too difficult for a begginer, and the other, Advance Text works only with FR/LG. And I think there's one for D/P.

The version that I found in the site that KW provided me, needs and .ini file of Emerald to be able to change the text. That version only has .ini for Leaf Green, Fire Red and I think Ruby and Sapphire.

mine is too hard to use.. and I heard that if oyu make a mistake you can crash the rom..

hey.. SSS try this.. move all the .ini files to a carpet named ini.. that could solve it..
