Ghosts/ SuperNatural

I know you all have experiences. Tell about them here. Do you believe? If so, why? And have you ever had an encounter? I love hearing about them. =] I will write mine down in a bit. But I am off to bed now. I look forward to hearing about everyone's opinions.

Alright. Since you are all little whimps, ;D, I will start.
Well, hum... I have a bunch. I will tell one for now. But I wonder what one I should tell.

****** I think one of my scariest things to tell abouot happened in my house in a town called Putnam Valley. Welp... So yah! This house was creepy.
One time I was sitting on the couch and looked over and at the front door was this green light, shaped like a person. I freaked out. And I told my brother a couple of days later and he told me he seen the same exact thing. ?__? Weird.
But that was not the story. This is just a little back ground on the house. A bit more you ask? Alright. My Mothers room was ALWAYS freezing. That was weird too. And alright here is what the house looked like:

Alright. The () is the walk in closet. [The ~~~ is just so I could align the symbols correctly.] The "l" is a window that you could look into the living room with. [Weird enough, right?] And the first set of --- is me and my sisters old room. The other ones are my mothers room. The =='s are the hallway. That's the layout for upstairs.

Okay... [] is the living room. Huge and two stories tall. ~is my brothers room. + is a tiny closet... That looked like they used to lock children in. =/ The iii's is the kitchen. --- is where the wood burning stove was. %%% is the bathroom. {}is the hallway/stairs. \\ is the washer and dryer.

Now that that is out of the way. -___-;*******

So one night I was sleeping in the living room and I had heard something on the roof. I was just like whatever... So I just kinda stared up and closed my eyes when I realized that what was on the roof was not really on the roof, but on the ceiling. I was like, wtf? I tried to reach back and turn on the light behind my head and it wasn't going on. So I started to freak. I tried to scream but I couldn't. It was REALLY scary. =[

Well, me and my family have a lot of creepy stories, here comes one:

My great grandfather had a farm (Now it's my uncle's) and he built a huge house on it.

Everyone tells that a man hung up himself on a room long ago.

A part of the house is like this:

[] is that room. {} is the room where my mom was sleeping.
() is the room where my aunt was sleeping. ------ is the hallway.

So my mom stayed with my aunts on that house one night, when she was a teen. Then they started hearing strong steps that came out of the [], then the steps walked through the hallway until they reached (), and they came back, stopped in front of the {}'s door, moved a chain and disappeared.

By that time my mom and my aunts were already crying on a corner, lol.

The next day they asked my grandpa about what they heard, and he told her that those steps were heard every night since the man killed himself.

O.O well.. sometimes.. i hear like.. a tv is on in my house.. you know.. you hear something like whispering.. and like.. umm.. how to say it.. energy of something on.. but when i run to "turn off" the tv... the tv is off..

Well, I was at my nana's house and I sleep upstairs.

So I just so happened to wake up to this wet stuff hitting me in the face.

I opened my eyes and there was this person with a knife.

I tried to scream but I couldn't as the knife came swooping down at me.

If finally managed to scream, as I shot blot upright clutching at my chest.

I breathed a sigh of relief.

I was only a dream.

To be honest, I've never had an experience such as this, though several friends and family have reported incidents to me.

I have however written (and put online) a website on parapsychology, a small part of which was about ghosts.

Cool, you're lucky then, it's freaky, I tell ya.

An illusion can kill you if you believe enough in it.

My eyes welled up too. That happens when i read/hear horror stories, like you.

well one night me and my family were watching tv on the house of my sister, we where wantching king of queens.. you probably know that program. well we where all siting on the couch, when sudenly we heard a noise from behind us when we saw back the chair was moving alone, nobody was pushing it and we where all siting wantching tv, and then the lights when off for like 10 seconds it was really scary that night i couldnt sleep well. since then i never seat on that chair, oh and i hate ghosts stories

meh. i like the cold, and the dark, and the rain. but not the freaky houses. I'm off to play spore now! yay!

Darkness is fun, freaky houses not so much.

In my Nanas house she has this giant black Tiki head type thing hanging on the wall, it's freaky at night to look at...

I don't like the basement of this house....
And now we're moving down there because there is 'more room'.
I'm scared. T^T

I feel your pain basements are just too freaky to live in...

Especially when there is no one else down there... And I have to stay there alone during the night. =[
